The garage has a 12-inch steel I beam that spans the center of garage supporting the cement ceiling above (See pictures). The house is probably the safest home in Utah in an earthquake. The cabinets in the kitchen and master bath are solid birch wood (no laminate which is common) the molding and doors on the main floor are also birch wood. Contractors are amazed at the construction. The roof is the original (63 years old) and has no leaks. Another indication of the quality of construction. It was checked by a contractor who jumped up and down on it three years ago and said it was solid! We replaced the main water line in 2016 from the meter on the street to inside the utility room. A new $500 garage door opener was installed August 15, 2019 with a 5-year warranty that stays with the home. The blinds are included but the draperies are excluded from the sale. House can be rented by a single family or up to 3 separate individuals. Please check Provo City Zoning for complete zoning restrictions.
