Nestled in the heart of Utah's Wasatch Mountains, Mayflower is North America's newest ski resort since 1980 and it's quickly making a name for itself as a must-visit destination for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. From its breathtaking views to its diverse terrain, Mayflower will have everything you need for an unforgettable winter vacation. One of the standout features of Mayflower is its location. Surrounded by some of Utah's tallest peaks, the resort offers breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys below. Mayflower has something for everyone. With over 1,000 acres of skiable terrain, the resort offers a wide range of slopes for skiers and snowboarders of all levels.
Project Details:
- 6,000 total resort acres
- The steepest run will be 2,850 vertical feet and 5 miles long (the longest ski run in Utah)
- Two decade project to complete - Phase one to open late 2024
- 1,200 day skier parking spots at full build out
- 19 lifts at full build out
- 17 units of first apartment building are for employee affordable housing
- ~11 miles of hiking and biking summer trails connect to the Summit County trail system (with plans to connect to the Wasatch County trail system too)
- Plan to open trails for use by summer 2024
- Over 350 acres of clearing complete with 200+ acres to go
- 300M gallons of non-culinary water will be needed annually, which is only 1/3 of 1% (294,685M water acres) of water coming from Jordanelle Reservoir in a season
- Snowmaking engineering by Snowmatic and planning to build a water reservoir at the top of the mountain to supply gravity-fed snowmaking (winter) and wildfire mitigation (summer) as well as ease needs from Jordanelle Reservoir (JSSD)
- An estimated 80% of water for snowmaking will return into Jordanelle Reservoir

Mayflower Resort will be comprised of three hotel properties, 1,600 residential units as well as 250,000 square feet of commercial space. There are prime ski lots in the gated Marcella Golf Community, as well as Velvaere, the unique wellness and outdoor community also with ski-in ski-out access.

Tigers Woods to Design the Resorts Golf Course
Tiger stated that his intent in partnering with the Marcella Club is to create a world-class golf experience to pair with Marcella's Clubs' vision for modern luxury living. The location for the course is uniquely beautiful and the course will offer engaging play for every level of golfer.
